A little bit about selvage Denim
The selvage is a denim fabric manufactured on authentic shuttle looms with a narrow width of 28"-29", this makes the fabric strong and durable.

The looms use a continuous cotton thread that goes back and forth, creating an edge  that will not unravel. The edge has a particular thread colour to make it easy to identify each fabric.

For this denim fabric Lee has used a classic yellow thread, which was one of the first selvage colours ever used in a Lee garment.
